Koppelman retires, Johnson starts July 1

Valley City (CSi) Following over 40 years in the education field, as the Valley City Public Schools Superintendent, Dean Koppelman retires from the school district on June 30th.

At the conclusion of his final regular school board meeting on June 15 Koppelman thanked the community and the school district.

School board president Joyce Braunagel presented Koppelman with his portrait now hanging in the board meeting room with the other superintendents who have served the school district.

On Friday, July 1, 2016, Josh Johnson becomes the new Valley City Public Schools Superintendent.
