vcsuValley City  (VCSU)  Prospective students, friends and family members are invited to visit the campus of Valley City State University on the next Viking Visit Day.

Each Viking Visit Day, which runs from 9 a.m. to noon, provides a informative, no-pressure way to check out the VCSU campus and learn about the university’s academic programs and co-curricular offerings.

Opportunities will be provided to visit with current students, professors and enrollment staff. Prospective student visitors will receive a free VCSU Viking T-shirt.

Participants will hear about VCSU’s use of Open Educational Resources (OER), free online resources which replace expensive textbooks in many courses; and pathways to earn a bachelor’s degree in three years.

A highlight of the Visit Day will be an opportunity to tour the new Gaukler Family Wellness, Health and Physical Education Center, which recently opened for student and community use.

The upcoming Viking Visit Day is Saturday, Nov. 19.

Those who prefer to schedule individual visits during the week are welcome to do so on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For more information or help arranging your visit, call VCSU’s Enrollment Services Office at 800-532-8641 or 701-845-7101. To register online for a visit, go to visit.vcsu.edu.
