NDWSaerialValley City (CSi) The 77th annual North Dakota Winter Show March 4 through March 9, 2014 in Valley City.

Plans are set for The North Dakota Winter Show’s, Women’s Division events.

On Tuesday, March 4, 2014, it’s the Country Hoedown in the National Guard Armory.

Admission of $20 includes a full day of entertainment, with performances by Slamabama, an opry a country music band from Minneapolis, along withTim & Becky Hager, from Valley City and the Dan Brekke Band, from Moorhead, MN.

Wednesday, March 5 it’s the Tasting Bee, at the National Guard Armory, from 11 am to 1:30 pm and feature a variety of food samples for 50-cents each, and no admission charge.

Senior Dance Day is also on Wednesday, at the Valley City Eagles Club.

Admission is $5 and is from 10 am to 3-p.m. with music by Marv and the Moonlighters, of Mandan.

Thursday, March 6 features the Antique Show and the Winter Show Luncheon.

The Luncheon is at the Valley City Eagles Club, at 12:30 p.m.

Entertainment will be provided by Robby Vee and his band, named after his father, Bobby Vee, playing favorites from the 50’s and 60’s, including songs made popular by Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, Bobby Vee, Charlie Rich and others.

Tickets are $17 each, including lunch, and tickets can be purchased in advance from any Women’s Division member, or at: Quilted Ceiling, Valley Drug, NuCara Pharmacy, Central Ave. HealthMart Pharmacy, the VC Eagles Club or at the NDWS Office.

The Antique Show is on Thursday March 6th, from 10-a.m., to 6-p.m., at the National Guard Armory and on Friday, March 7 at the same times.

Admission is $2 per person.

Saturday, March 8 events include the My Trash, Your Treasure, at the City Auditorium, from 10-a.m., – 4 p.m. Admission at $2 per person.

The Junk Boutique ‘n More is also be Saturday the 8th, at the National Guard Armory, and continues Sunday, March 9 and features restored home furnishings and custom creations, along with crafts and unique gifts.

Admission will be $2 per person and runs from 10 am to 6-p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Souvenirs will be available for purchase at the National Guard Armory, or in the NDWS Event Center throughout the entire show.
