NDHP1DAZEY, N.D. (AP) – A rollover crash near Dazey over the weekend killed one man and injured another.
 
     The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 33-year-old Brent Siverson, of Casselton, was a passenger in a pickup truck that went out of control on state Highway 26, went into a ditch, vaulted off an intersecting county road, rolled, and came to rest upside down.
 
     The crash happened about 8:45 p.m. Saturday. Siverson was thrown from the pickup and died at the scene.
 
     The patrol says 30-year-old Christopher Weller, of Dazey, was driving the pickup and was pinned inside after the crash. He was taken to a Fargo hospital with unspecified injuries.

Jamestown (CSi)  The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports on Saturday, January 24th, 2015, at approximately 8:45 pm, a one vehicle rollover fatality crash occurred on Highway 26 near milepost 7, seven miles east of Dazey.

A 2007 Silverado operated by an unidentifed male from Dazey was westbound on Highway 26, coming from Lake Ashtabula, headed toward Dazey. The driver lost control for an unknown reason, entered the south ditch, vaulted off of an intersecting township road, rolled over, and came to rest upside down.

It was snowing at the time of the crash, and there was snow on the roadway. The unidentified 33 male passenger from Casselton, the passenger of the vehicle was unrestrained, and ejected during the rollover. The driver was unrestrained, and pinned inside the pickup when it came to rest upside down. The passenger died of his injuries at the scene. The driver was injured, and was transported by Valley City Ambulance to Sanford Hospital in Fargo.
