BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – A Williston resident has claimed a Powerball prize worth $1 million.
 
     The North Dakota Lottery says the winner drew the ticket on Saturday and claimed his prize Wednesday in Bismarck. The winner has elected to remain anonymous.
 
     The Lottery says the winner did not know the ticket was worth a million until Monday morning. He told Lottery officials that he has no immediate plans for the money but is thinking about retirement and “maybe a few new toys.”
 
     The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday is estimated at $317 million.

ILLISTON, N.D. (AP) – North Dakota Lottery officials say a Powerball ticket worth $1 million has been sold in Williston. 
 
     Officials say the ticket purchased for Saturday’s draw matched all five white ball numbers. The winning numbers are 5, 11, 16, 26, and 50, and the Powerball is 34. 
 
     The winner has yet to come forward. The lucky ticket was sold at the Cenex convenience store on Washington Avenue.
 
     Officials say the winner should sign the back of the ticket and contact the state’s lottery office.
 
     Powerball is played in 44 states and the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The jackpot currently sits at $317 million for the next drawing on Wednesday.
 
     The last million dollar North Dakota Powerball prize was won on September 2013 in West Fargo.
