Jamestown (CSi)  University of Jamestown head men’s football coach Shawn Frank has announced the signing of Holden Pieh of Jackson Northwest High School who will join the Jimmies in the 2015-2016 season.

Pieh (Jackson, MI) is 6’4″ tall and weighs in at 240 pounds. Cork’s defensive statistics for the season include 12 tackles and 1 sack with 1 fumble recovery. He was also Offensive Line MVP for 2014, voted team captain 2014, made the All-Area Dream Team and was on the 1st Team Interstate 8 All-Conference 2014.

Coach Frank says of Pieh, “Holden is a young man that fits the profile of successful student-athletes at the University of Jamestown. He is a great student, a quality young man and good football player. We were very impressed, as a staff, when Holden made his visit to campus. He values many of the same things we look for in the recruiting process. A physical player that has the frame to add more weight; he is very good at the point of attack on either side of the line of scrimmage. We see him as a 5 technique in our defensive scheme. We are excited as to what the future holds with this young man. His best football I certainly ahead of him and we are happy to be able to coach him as we move forward.”

Pieh, son of Brad and Amber Pieh, plans to major in Biology.
