{"id":100619,"date":"2016-05-13T14:00:43","date_gmt":"2016-05-13T19:00:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=100619"},"modified":"2016-05-15T21:23:55","modified_gmt":"2016-05-16T02:23:55","slug":"water-outage-fri-water-main-break","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=100619","title":{"rendered":"Water service RESTORED SE Jmst Friday, afternoon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Water Department reports that the water was back on, early Friday afternoon, in Southeast Jamestown following the repair of a broken water main.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesman said the cast iron pipe crack was repaired with a stainless steel clamp, and the excavation was filled and brought up to grade.<\/p>\n<p>The 75 or so customers in the area were advised that the water service would be shut off starting at 11-a.m., Friday, and crews finished the repair at 1-p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The area affected was south of 15<sup>th<\/sup> St SE from 7<sup>th<\/sup> Ave SE to Elmwood Place, including 15<sup>th<\/sup> St SE between 6<sup>th<\/sup> Ave SE &amp; 8<sup>th<\/sup> Ave SE and areas to the south.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Reported earlier&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 Jamestown Public Works is informing the public that <strong>at approximately 11:00 am <\/strong>this morning<strong>, May 13,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>WATER SERVICE WILL BE SHUT OFF\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>in the following areas:<\/p>\n<p>SOUTH of 15<sup>th<\/sup> St SE from 7<sup>th<\/sup> Ave SE to Elmwood Place, \u00a0including 15<sup>th<\/sup> St SE between 6<sup>th<\/sup> Ave SE &amp; 8<sup>th<\/sup> Ave SE and areas to the south.<\/p>\n<p>City Crews will be repairing a water main break during this time.<\/p>\n<p>Water outages will be temporary in this area &#8211; water service will be resumed as soon as is possible.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Water Department reports that the water was back on, early Friday afternoon, in Southeast Jamestown following the repair of a broken water main.
