The columns may not engage, meaning the steering wheel could rotate freely and the driver could lose control.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>The problem was discovered May 3, 2016\u00a0when the owner of a 2016 Outback reported trouble. \u00a0The company did not state whether there have been any accidents or injuries.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>Subaru says dealers will check the steering columns.
