The summit is limited to 30 female elected officials from across the nation. The summit will be held in Arlington, VA on Thursday, June 16 and Friday, June 17.<\/p>\n<p>Haak says, &#8220;I am honored to be selected to attend this incredible summit. I look forward to expanding my knowledge on how to combat this atrocious crime and to continue to work with local leaders and at the state level to bring an end to human trafficking in North Dakota.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The summit is a 1.5 day discussion on one of the most critical issues in America today, child sex trafficking. The event offers an organization experts, survivor testimonies, leadership development training, roundtable discussions by Google, the National Center for Mission and Exploited Children, the FBI Innocent Lost Initiative, Demand Abolition, and Shared Hope International.<\/p>\n<p>The NFWL is a non-partisan 501(c)3 educational foundation for elected women on the state, county, and municipal level.
