{"id":100977,"date":"2016-05-19T10:06:03","date_gmt":"2016-05-19T15:06:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=100977"},"modified":"2016-05-19T10:29:35","modified_gmt":"2016-05-19T15:29:35","slug":"flower-planting-summer-projects-hansen-arts-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=100977","title":{"rendered":"Flower planting, summer projects, Hansen Arts Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-78537\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/artsparkdrawing-300x241.jpg\" alt=\"artsparkdrawing\" width=\"300\" height=\"241\" \/>Jamestown (CSi) The Hansen Arts Park in downtown Jamestown is getting flowers for the season with plantings.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday\u2019s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Jamestown Arts Center, Director Cyndi Wish said the community is invited to help out.<\/p>\n<p>The first set of plantings occurred on Wednesday, and Thursday this week, and will continue after Memorial Day, with dates and times to be announced, with volunteer work consisting of planting the hedges.<\/p>\n<p>This summer the sculpture will be installed at the Arts Park with the artist working for several days, and living in Jamestown during that time.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone interested in volunteering at the Arts Park this summer may contact the Jamestown Arts Center at 701-251-2496.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The current exhibit at the Arts Center gallery is &#8220;Inspired by Shadow by Donna Watts, now through June 11, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Coming up at the Arts Center will be summer camps beginning June 6, 2016 including theater, sculpture, and mask making, and more.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-91979\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/TwoRiversArtsSchool-300x203.png\" alt=\"TwoRiversArtsSchool\" width=\"300\" height=\"203\" srcset=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/TwoRiversArtsSchool-300x203.png 300w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/TwoRiversArtsSchool-257x175.png 257w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/TwoRiversArtsSchool.png 445w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>In conjunction with the Two Rivers Performing Arts School, youth from 2<sup>nd<\/sup> through 8<sup>th<\/sup> grade are invited to participate in the Drama Camp.<\/p>\n<p>July 11-29, 2016, Monday through Friday from 9-a.m., to 12 noon.<\/p>\n<p>The performance will be Friday July 29, 2016 at 7-p.m., at the Arts Center.<\/p>\n<p>Also coming to the Arts Center will be the Missoula Children\u2019s Theater, with children learning, and then putting on a production later in the summer.<\/p>\n<p>The Arts Center has more information.<\/p>\n<p>The next Open Mic Night is set for Saturday May 21, 2016, starting at 6-p.m., at the Arts Center.
