A funeral mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Monday, May 23rd at St. Catherine\u2019s Catholic Church in Valley City. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Lerud Schuldt Funeral Home and one hour before the service at the church on Monday afternoon. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Mary\u2019s Catholic Cemetery near Dazey, ND.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Luella Marie Stroh was born May 4, 1930 at Jamestown, the daughter of George and Christina (Fischer) Stroh.\u00a0\u00a0 Lue grew up and attended school in Eckelson and then they moved to Tower City. Lue married the love of her life Herman Kunze July 8,1955 at St. Bernard&#8217;s Catholic Church in Oriska.\u00a0 The couple moved to Valley City where they raised t he children.\u00a0 Lue worked as a CNA at the Sheyenne Care Center and then at St. Ann&#8217;s wing at Maryvale, where she felt at peace taking care of the retired nuns.\u00a0 Luella retired in 2010.\u00a0 She was known for always taking care of people, she took care of her parents, her father-in-law and her husband until their passing.\u00a0She prayed daily for her family and friends and many prayers were answered. She was always concerned about taking care of everyone else&#8217;s needs and welcoming them into her home and making sure they had something delicious to eat.\u00a0She prayed daily for her family and friends and many prayers were answered.\u00a0 She loved canning and making jelly for her family.\u00a0 She\u00a0loved visiting with her grandchildren, going to mass and out for coffee.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0One of her most favorite places to go\u00a0was McDonald&#8217;s. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Lue is survived by her children Allan Kunze, Valley City, Robert (Linda) Kunze\u00a0Grand Forks, Karen (Al) Lien, Jamestown, and Christine (Robert) Westerhausen, Va lley City.\u00a0 Nine grandchildren Deanna Keys, Nicholas Mauch, Tim(Stephanie)Kunze, Melissa (Dan)Chandler, Danyell(Cory) Quintero, David(Sarah)Keys, Samantha (Peter)Wiechman, Joshua Mauch, and Derek (Renita)Westerhausen and 7 great grandchildren, Jayden, Kayne,\u00a0\u00a0Spencer, Jaxon,\u00a0\u00a0Aria, Caleb Herman and Raphael. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Lue was proceeded in death by her husband, parents, 7 brothers and 3 sisters and one daughter-in-law.
