(AP) \u2013 Governor Jack Dalrymple and lawmakers say oil issues will dominate this year\u2019s Legislature.<\/p>\n<p>Dalrymple and Senate majority leader Rich Wardner of Dickinson say they\u2019ve received plenty of suggestions on how to spend oil tax revenue that is fattening state coffers. Those suggestions will play a big role in what\u2019s tackled during the legislative session that convenes Tuesday, January 8, 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Dalrymple says his proposed $12.8 billion budget addresses the needs in the oil patch, including road work and additional law enforcement.<\/p>\n<p>Senate Democratic minority leader Mac Schneider of Grand Forks says he believes lawmakers have a \u201cmoral obligation\u201d to communities in the oil patch to address the problems caused by increased oil production.<\/p>\n<p>Wardner says the job of lawmakers in the upcoming session will be to \u201csort out the wants versus the needs.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BISMARCK, N.D.
