{"id":102587,"date":"2016-06-15T22:35:21","date_gmt":"2016-06-16T03:35:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=102587"},"modified":"2016-06-16T09:23:51","modified_gmt":"2016-06-16T14:23:51","slug":"deaf-woman-sues-city-law-enforcement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=102587","title":{"rendered":"Woman sues JPD, City, County, &#038; courts"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"node-body\">\n<p>Jamestown, ND (WDAY TV) &#8211; A Bismarck woman\u00a0claims Jamestown police did not respect her constitutional rights because she is deaf.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"node-body\">\n<p>WDAY TV has reported, on Monday, Christine Stein of Bismarck filed a lawsuit against the City of Jamestown, Jamestown police officer Brian Davis, Stutsman County and multiple judicial agencies and their employees.<\/p>\n<p>She says it&#8217;s because she was wrongfully arrested and then put in solitary confinement overnight. She was also brought in front of a judge the next day without an interpreter.<\/p>\n<p>A judge eventually dropped all arresting charges.<\/p>\n<p>The TV station reports that it reached out to all those involved in the lawsuit, and they all declined to comment.
