All Members were present.<\/p>\n<p>CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS DISCUSSED SEPARATELY:<\/p>\n<p>Council Member Buchanan requested Item C be removed a Resolution to approve the request from the JSDC for $146,337 from the Economic Development<\/p>\n<p>Fund for the overlay of the road from I-94 Exit 269 to 1 mile north with the City Share to be $131,703, and paid from the City Sales Tax Fund, under economic development infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>He asked JSDC CEO, Connie Ova\u00a0to give an overview of the project.<\/p>\n<p>She pointed out that it is important to finish the road, and that the project will be paid by the three tenants to occupy the area properties.<\/p>\n<p>It connects with JSDC property.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor Andersen said the overlay project is now accelerated.<\/p>\n<p>The City Council voted to approve the request.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS:<\/p>\n<p>RESOLUTIONS:<\/p>\n<p>To certify that the below named officers were elected by a majority vote at the 2016 State Primary\/City<\/p>\n<p>Election:\u00a0 Term Expires Votes<\/p>\n<p>Council Members<\/p>\n<p>Steve Brubakken June 2020 1842<\/p>\n<p>Dan Buchanan June 2020 1824<\/p>\n<p>Pam Phillips June 2020 1467<\/p>\n<p>City Park Board Commissioners<\/p>\n<p>Mark Ukestad June 2020 2059<\/p>\n<p>Ron Olson June 2020 1753<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Approval of the report on the cost of infrastructure for the public improvements ($1,897,740) on Tax Increment Financing District No. 2014-1 (Menards) and to direct the City Administrator to certify the amounts.<\/p>\n<p>The council\u00a0considered the report from Interstate Engineering, Inc., regarding the drainage concerns in the alley adjacent to the Jamestown Youth for Christ building located at 2<span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\">nd <\/span>St. and 4<span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\">th <\/span>Ave. SE, moved to the issue to the July 5<sup>th<\/sup> City Council meeting pending additional information.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>HEARING FROM THE AUDIENCE:<\/p>\n<p>Connie Ova spoke and indicated updates with Bank of North Dakota infrastructure loans. She said city projects could be reviewed in light of the new information concerning new construction, at a 2-percent loan rate that may be available.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBER\u2019S REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL:<\/p>\n<p>Mayor Andersen said this marks the end of the current council\u2019s business.<\/p>\n<p>Council Member Charlie Kourajian was presented a plaque for his years of service on the City Council, a total of 40 years.
