(AP) &#8211; North Dakota has its first confirmed human case of West Nile virus this year.<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The state Department of Health on Friday said the case involves a Grand Forks County woman in her 30s. The patient was not hospitalized because of the illness.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The department last year counted 23 people who tested positive for the mosquito-borne virus. Of those, eight were hospitalized and one died.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 State epidemiologist Laura Cronquist is encouraging people to wear mosquito repellent when outdoors during the evening between dusk and dawn.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The virus symptoms include fever, headache, body aches and rash.
