They will be collecting non-perishable food items and monetary donations. All donations will be given to the Jamestown Salvation Army Food Pantry and the Community Action Region VI Food Pantry. Donations can be dropped off at St. James Basilica and at the Knights of Columbus Hall.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The news release says, the Knights of Columbus is committed to ending hunger in local communities. Since 2012, the Knights of Columbus has donated over $8.5 million and 14.7 million pounds of food to local food pantries, community food banks and soup kitchens across the country.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">In Jamestown there is a great need for food during these summer months.
