Robert Opp says the car operated by 47 year old Michelle Baesler of Jamestown was\u00a0 turning left from 8<sup>th<\/sup> Street Southeast on to First Avenue South.<\/p>\n<p>The bicyclist, \u00a067 year old Floyd Nobel of Jamestown was eastbound on 8<sup>th<\/sup> Street Southeast, and did not see a directional signal on the Baesler vehicle, and assumed it was going straight instead of turning, and he proceeded straight across the intersection.\u00a0 The car struck the bicycle at the intersection.<\/p>\n<p>The report says Nobel was evaluated at the scene by Jamestown Area Ambulance Service First Responders, and no injury was reported.<\/p>\n<p>Baesler was issued a warning by police in regard to failure to yield while making a left turn.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Previously&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi)\u00a0 Jamestown Police investigated a possible car, bicycle accident in the 3-O&#8217;Clock hour, on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>A bicycle could be seen\u00a0laying in the southbound lane of 1st Avenue near the intersection of 8th Street and 1st Avenue South. \u00a0The male bicyclist was observed getting up from the pavement under his own power and walking to the sidewalk.<\/p>\n<p>Emergency personnel\u00a0were summoned to the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The bicyclist\u00a0did not appear to be seriously injured and was treated at the scene by Jamestown Area Ambulance Service.<\/p>\n<p>More information when the accident report is filed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Update&#8230;.
