Sadie Hagan, 89, of Jamestown, ND, is now walking with the angels. She passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.<\/p>\n
Sadie was born July 1, 1927, in Portage, WI, the daughter of William and Esther (Balliet) Ringhardt.\u00a0\u00a0 She graduated from Portage High School and married John \u201cJack\u201d Hagan on March 5, 1946 at St. Mary\u2019s Catholic Church in Portage.\u00a0 The family moved to Jamestown in 1960 and then to a farm south of Jamestown in 1968.\u00a0 Sadie was co-owner of H&H Machinery with Jack.\u00a0 She also worked as a bookkeeper at S&L, later Bostwick\u2019s, and the Fair Store.\u00a0 Sadie enjoyed sewing, knitting, and traveling with her children.\u00a0 She also liked watching baseball and hockey.<\/p>\n
Sadie was an active member of St. James Basilica, serving on committees and circles including sexton of Calvary Cemetery for many years. She was also a member of the Elks Lodge #995.<\/p>\n
Sadie is survived by her children, Kathleen Jones, Timothy & Pam Hagan, Terry & Carol Hagan, Monica & Vernon Batesole, and Tony & Laurie Hagan; 16 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.<\/p>\n
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack, on July 27, 1986; son, Thomas; grandsons, Todd Hagan and Tanner Moore; and brothers and sisters.<\/p>\n
