{"id":107683,"date":"2016-09-21T09:45:02","date_gmt":"2016-09-21T14:45:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=107683"},"modified":"2016-09-21T09:45:19","modified_gmt":"2016-09-21T14:45:19","slug":"absentee-votes-will-determine-school-bond-vote","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=107683","title":{"rendered":"Absentee votes will determine school bond vote"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tower City\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0\u00a0 Absentee ballots will determine the outcome of the Special Election, held Tuesday for the Maple Valley School District.<\/p>\n<p>The vote was too close to call as the ballot asked voters to if they supported a $14.3 million dollar bond issue for an addition to the existing school building to centralize Maple Valley School District at one building location.<\/p>\n<p>Superintendent Brian Wolf says the canvassing of all the ballots will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 to determine the final outcome of the vote.<\/p>\n<p>Previously in April of 2015, voters defeated a $10.3 million school bond issue.<\/p>\n<p>The measure, then was two votes shy of passing with 59.60 percent in favor, shy of the \u00a060 percent or more is needed to pass a school bond issue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tower City\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0\u00a0 Absentee ballots will determine the outcome of the Special Election, held Tuesday for the Maple Valley School District.
