Haak completed orientation earlier this year and attended her first meeting as a board member in September 2016. She was elected to a two-year term and serves on the Strategic Planning standing committee.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Haak says, \u201cIt is an honor to be a part of the Great Plains Food Bank, the state\u2019s largest hunger-relief provider.\u00a0 I look forward to working with community leaders in Jamestown, and beyond, that donate to the GPFB. A huge thank you to everyone who has and\/or continues to contribute.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Great Plains Food Bank provides over 11 million meals through private contributions, church contributions, United Way, and grants.
