\"NDHPpatch\"Oriska\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports, a two vehicle crash on\u00a0 Saturday October 8, 2016 resulted in the death of\u00a0 one person and injured three others,\u00a0 about 2:20-p.m. at the Junction of Highway 32 and Barnes County Road 6, North\u00a0 of Oriska.<\/p>\n

The report released on Thursday\u00a0 says, 52 year-old Sandra Meyer of Hillsboro and passenger 23 year old Rachel Meyer, also of Hillsboro were\u00a0 westbound in a 2011 GMC Acadia SUV on Barnes County Road 6.<\/p>\n

A 2013 Buick Lacrosse operated by 59 year old Clayton Schumaker of Bismarck was\u00a0 southbound on Highway 32.\u00a0 Meyer failed to stop at the intersection of the two roads and hit the Buick on the driver’s side, in a T-bone collision.\u00a0 Both vehicles entered the ditch.<\/span><\/p>\n

Schumaker and his 88 year-old Alice Anderson of Hope were flown by Barnes County Life Flight,\u00a0 to Sanford Hospital in\u00a0 Fargo\u00a0 for medical treatment.<\/p>\n

Sandra Meyer and her passenger 23 year old Rachel Meyer of Hillsboro, received minor injuries.<\/p>\n

The reports says Anderson died on October 11th from injuries received in the crash.<\/p>\n

All occupants were wearing seat belts.<\/p>\n

Charges are pending against Meyer.<\/p>\n

Assisting the Highway Patrol were the Barnes County Sheriff’s Office, and Barnes County Rescue.<\/p>\n
