Lisbon\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports, on November 4th, at approximately 8:57 am, law enforcement responded to a report of a deceased female in the east ditch of Hwy. 32 approximately 1\/2 mile north of Lisbon.\u00a0 Through investigation it was learned the 44\u00a0year old\u00a0female identifed as Ilina Valkova of Lisbon<\/strong> was walking northbound along Hwy. 32 when she was struck from behind by a 2001 Chevrolet S10 pickup, driven by Paul Vincent.\u00a0\u00a0 Vincent fled the scene, but was arrested later in the day in Cooperstown.<\/p>\n

Vincent had concealed his vehicle after the crash at a location near Gwinner.\u00a0 Through the cooperation of several law enforcement agencies and witnesses, investigators were able to identify and arrest Vincent without incident.\u00a0\u00a0 Vincent is currently charged with Felony – Leaving the Scene of a Fatal Crash and is being held at the Barnes County Jail.<\/p>\n

The crash remains under investigation.\u00a0 An approximate time of the crash is determined to be between 5:30-6:00 am on November 4th.\u00a0 If anyone has any information that would assist law enforcement with this investigation, please call ND State Radio at 1-800-472-2121 or the NDHP Fargo office at (701) 239-8960.<\/p>\n

Lisbon\u00a0 (CSi) \u00a0The Ransom County Sheriff\u2019s Office and the North Dakota Highway Patrol are investigating a fatal hit and run accident at about 9-a.m. Friday,\u00a0 on Highway 32,\u00a0 a mile north of Lisbon.<\/p>\n

Authorities say the body of a woman was found on the highway by a passing motorist.<\/p>\n

The woman pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that left the scene overnight.<\/p>\n
