Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi) Jamestown Police has confirmed that the prisoner that escaped earlier from custody\u00a0 near the State Hospital was apprehended.\u00a0 The initial Code Red Alert came in at 5:30-p.m., followed by another Code Red issued at 6:50-p.m. saying the 20 year old Larimore man had been apprehended, following a two hour search of the area.<\/p>\n

20 year old\u00a0 Bryan Satterwhite was being held at the State Hospital, and was in the process of being transferred to a law enforcement van, to Grand Forks,\u00a0when he fled.<\/p>\n

Local law enforcement activated the James Valley Special Operations\u00a0 Unit west of the State Hospital,\u00a0to assist in the search, which was assisted by the Jamestown City Fire Department’s\u00a0 enhanced vision equipment.<\/p>\n

He was taken into custody\u00a0by the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office, and transferred to Grand Forks.<\/p>\n

Charges are pending in Stutsman County in connection with the incident.<\/p>\n

Previously the Jamestown Police Department, at 5:30-p.m. Wed Nov 9, 2016, issued a Code Red Alert, to be on the look out for a\u00a020 year old white\u00a0male, that\u00a0escaped from law enforcement custody\u00a0near the State Hospital in SE Jamestown, \u00a0and is wanted for aggravated assault.\u00a0He is wearing shorts,\u00a0a plaid shirt, a grey sweatshirt, and black socks and no shoes.\u00a0He is handcuffed\u00a0and wearing belly chains. \u00a0If you see him do not approach, contact law enforcement\u00a0at 701-252-1000.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
