Agatha Marsolek, 88, of Wimbledon, ND, died Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown.<\/p>\n
Agatha was born on September 12, 1924, in Strasburg, ND, the daughter of Kasper and Clara Gross.\u00a0 She attended school in Kintyre and Lehr, ND.\u00a0 Agatha worked in Jamestown at Ebertz Caf\u00e9 and later the Dutch Lunch.\u00a0 She met and married Ralph Marsolek on June 11, 1946 in Kensal, ND and they made their home on a farm west of Courtenay, ND.\u00a0 Agatha worked in Wimbledon at the City Bar and later for Charlie Sizer at CM\u2019s Place for 30 years.\u00a0 They moved from the farm to Wimbledon in 1987 and she retired from CM\u2019s at the age of 85. \u00a0She delighted in visiting with her biker friends, friends, playing cards, collecting dolls and toy cars. \u00a0Agatha was the matriarch of her family and loved having them around.<\/p>\n
Agatha was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, the Women\u2019s Auxiliary, and the Wimbledon Senior Citizens Center.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Agatha is survived by her children, Kathleen (Jerry) Pierce, Carrington, ND, Phyllis Schuldheisz, Courtenay, ND, Carol (Lonny) Lee, Jamestown, ND, Clarence (Deb) Marsolek, Courtenay, ND, Diane (Larry) Lee, Jamestown, ND, and James Marsolek, Jamestown, ND; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 4 brothers, Eugene (Donna) Gross, Fargo, ND, Valentine (Delores) Gross, De Smit, SD, Peter Gross, West Fargo, ND, Joe Gross, San Jose, CA; and one sister, Irene Janke, Ellendale, ND.<\/p>\n
