News Jan 19, 2013) \u00a0&#8212;\u00a0 The Gackle Brothers building in Kulm went up in flames Saturday morning.<\/p>\n<p>The fire about 9-a.m.was \u00a0called in by a passerby, as fire departments from Kulm and Edgeley battled the blaze, fanned by strong northwesterly wind.<\/p>\n<p>Fire crews were able to keep the fire from spreading, to nearby structures.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 25 to 30 firefighters and six vehicles were called to the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The cause of the fire is believed to be from \u00a0electrical short in a vehicle, brought in for repair.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The building&#8217;s owner, Wes\u00a0Gackle says, the building likely\u00a0was constructed\u00a0the early 1900&#8217;s, with part of\u00a0the building leased to the \u00a0to D&amp;D Repair business., and the rest used for storage.<\/p>\n<p>After the fire was put out,\u00a0heavy machinery\u00a0pulled down the\u00a0down the walls.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters were on the scene about five hours.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kulm, ND\u00a0 (KCSi-T.V.
