It’s the time of year again when the weather turns cold and we need to dig
\nour hats, mittens, scarves and other warm clothes out of storage. To help
\nthose who may not have those necessary items during this cold weather
\nseason, the James River Valley Library System has placed a Mitten Tree in
\nthe Adult Section of the Alfred Dickey Library. We are asking the community
\nto help us decorate our Mitten Tree by donating new or gently used hats,
\ngloves, mittens, and scarves for all ages. All donations will be given to
\nthe Salvation Army, which will give these items to those who need them.<\/p>\n
