Cyndy Zaun, age 56, of Buffalo, ND, died Tuesday, December 6th at her residence.<\/p>\n
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM on Monday, December 12th at the Lerud Schuldt Funeral Home in Valley City.<\/p>\n
Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 4:30 to 6:30 PM at the funeral home.<\/p>\n
Inurnment will be in Sheyenne Valley Cemetery near Kathryn, ND.<\/p>\n
Cynthia Marie Saugstad was born on December 9th, 1959 to John and Lynette (Hellickson) Saugstad. She grew up on a farm outside of Kathryn, ND and was very active with 4-H, cattle, and her horses. Cyndy graduated from Kathryn High School in 1978. She later attended VCSU and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business.<\/p>\n
She moved to Fargo after graduating and worked for a bank and insurance company.<\/p>\n
On December 2, 1989 she married Dale Zaun and moved to a farm south of Buffalo, ND.<\/p>\n
Cyndy later had two children, Katelyn and Jared, and was a stay at home mom for a few years.<\/p>\n
For the past 11 years, she enjoyed her springs working at Riverside Gardens in Valley City. Cyndy loved camping, bowling, going gambling with her girls, and singing karaoke.<\/p>\n
In lieu of Flowers, the family prefers donations be made to the Sheyenne Valley Cemetery, Kathryn, ND.<\/p>\n
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Dale Zaun; children Katelyn and Jared, one brother Stan (Jeannie) Blom of Kathryn ND, sister Denise (David) Majerus of Kathryn ND, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great friends.<\/p>\n
She is preceded in death by her parents John and Lynette, brother Rick Blom, and godson Andrew Sadek.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
