Burchill stated in his nomination form that LeRoy was a found and board member of the All Vets Club in Jamestown. He has been a driving force in making sure veterans would have a place to gather regularly. He has been active with his business and has worked tirelessly for the community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-6539\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/smette-300x202.jpg\" alt=\"smette\" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" srcset=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/smette-300x202.jpg 300w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/smette-259x175.jpg 259w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/smette.jpg 445w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Citizen of the Year: \u00a0David was nominated by Shirley Jackson for the 2016 Citizen of the Year award. She stated in her nomination letter that he has been very active in the community for many years in a number of leadership roles as well as being a member of many community and civic organizations.
