{"id":116360,"date":"2017-02-15T22:22:56","date_gmt":"2017-02-16T04:22:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=116360"},"modified":"2017-02-16T16:51:26","modified_gmt":"2017-02-16T22:51:26","slug":"elhard-sentenced-dec-nw-jmstwn-standoff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=116360","title":{"rendered":"Elhard sentenced for Dec Jamestown Standoff"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-113521\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Elhard-Troy-300x202.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" srcset=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Elhard-Troy-300x202.jpg 300w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Elhard-Troy-260x175.jpg 260w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Elhard-Troy.jpg 445w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Jamestown (CSi)\u00a0 A 33 year old Jamestown man was sentenced, Wednesday, after pleading guilty to felony terrorizing in connection with a December 2016<a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=113385\"> seven hour standoff in\u00a0 Jamestown.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>33 year old\u00a0Troy Allen\u00a0 Elhard was sentenced to 51 days in jail, two years of probation, and fined $960.<\/p>\n<p>Elhard was sentenced by Southeast District Court Judge, Jay Schmitz to undergo a psychiatric evaluation within 90 days and to complete the recommended treatment.<\/p>\n<p>The sentence included a two-year deferred imposition of sentence.<\/p>\n<p>The conviction could be removed from his record in two years if he meets all the terms of his probation.<\/p>\n<p>Law enforcement was called to\u00a0Northland Estates where\u00a0 Elhard had barricaded himself in a mobile home, with weapons.\u00a0 The call coming from a female in the home.<\/p>\n<p>Attempts to contact or negotiate with him were unsuccessful, and the standoff ended at 4-a.m.,\u00a0 after teargas was fired into the mobile home.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities used an armored vehicle to breakdown the door.<\/p>\n<p>He came out of\u00a0 a few minutes later and surrendered without any weapons exchange.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSi)\u00a0 A 33 year old Jamestown man was sentenced, Wednesday, after pleading guilty to felony terrorizing in connection with a December 2016 seven hour standoff in\u00a0 Jamestown. 33 year old\u00a0Troy Allen\u00a0 Elhard was sentenced to 51 days in jail, two years of probation, and fined $960.
