{"id":118701,"date":"2017-03-29T10:15:25","date_gmt":"2017-03-29T15:15:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=118701"},"modified":"2017-03-29T14:10:14","modified_gmt":"2017-03-29T19:10:14","slug":"traffic-stop-yields-large-marijuana-bust","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=118701","title":{"rendered":"Traffic stop yields large marijuana bust"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/DrugBustSCSD.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-118703\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/DrugBustSCSD-300x202.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" srcset=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/DrugBustSCSD-300x202.jpg 300w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/DrugBustSCSD-260x175.jpg 260w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/DrugBustSCSD.jpg 445w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Jamestown (CSi)\u00a0 The Stutsman County Sheriff\u2019s Office says a 48 year old man from California has been arrested, after allegedly possessing more than $100,000 worth of marijuana.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Matt Thom says Samuel Hanna, of \u00a0Eureka, California \u00a0was first seen Tuesday on I-94, and a traffic stop was made when Hanna left the interstate and pulled in the Superpumper gas station-store, on Highway 281 South in Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/HannaSamuel.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-118714\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/HannaSamuel-300x202.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" srcset=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/HannaSamuel-300x202.jpg 300w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/HannaSamuel-260x175.jpg 260w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/HannaSamuel.jpg 445w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Thom\u2019s report says Hanna denied a request to search his vehicle and that Thom could smell marijuana.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0 K9 unit confirmed its presence.\u00a0 \u00a0A search of the vehicle yielded 16 and a half pounds of marijuana, along with drug paraphernalia and a large knife.<\/p>\n<p>Hanna was arrested on suspicion of delivery of a controlled substance, marijuana, manufacture of a controlled substance, marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia used for marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia used with methamphetamines, carrying a concealed weapon and making a false statement to a law enforcement officer.<\/p>\n<p>Hanna is in custody at the Stutsman County Correctional Center.<\/p>\n<p>His initial appearance in Southeast District Court has not yet been scheduled.<\/p>\n<p>Hanna may be facing additional charges, under review with the Stutsman County State\u2019s Attorney\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSi)\u00a0 The Stutsman County Sheriff\u2019s Office says a 48 year old man from California has been arrested, after allegedly possessing more than $100,000 worth of marijuana.
