{"id":118847,"date":"2017-03-31T16:53:37","date_gmt":"2017-03-31T21:53:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=118847"},"modified":"2017-03-31T16:53:37","modified_gmt":"2017-03-31T21:53:37","slug":"clayton-tharaldson-mar-30-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=118847","title":{"rendered":"Clayton Tharaldson &#8211; Mar 30, 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Clayton Tharaldson, age 56, of Dazey, ND, died Thursday, March 30th at Essentia Health, Fargo, ND.<\/p>\n<p>A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, April 3rd at Our Saviour&#8217;s Lutheran Church in Dazey, ND.<\/p>\n<p>Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the churh in Dazey.<\/p>\n<p>Inurnment will be in the Dazey Cemetery, Dazey, ND.<\/p>\n<p>Clay was born on July 9, 1960 in Dazey, the son of Morris and Annie Tharaldson.<\/p>\n<p>He was the youngest child of six.<\/p>\n<p>He grew up and was raised in Dazey, which has been his forever home.<\/p>\n<p>Clay attended school at North Central of Barnes.<\/p>\n<p>Clay had worked many years with his dad and brother, Jerome, doing construction jobs with Tharaldson Construction.<\/p>\n<p>He enjoyed many things in life, his family and many friends were a big part of his life.<\/p>\n<p>He never turned anyone away and always had a smile.<\/p>\n<p>His cat, Rusty, was one of his favorites.<\/p>\n<p>His flower gardens and other garden were his pride and joy.<\/p>\n<p>Clay enjoyed going on 4-wheeler rides around Dazey, stopping and visiting whomever was outside for a chat.<\/p>\n<p>One of his newest prides was of course his Bison Pride.<\/p>\n<p>He recently got a Bison tattoo.<\/p>\n<p>Taking a look at his yard screaming Bison Pride, from the house with Bison colors, Bison flags, and all of his other Bison gear.<\/p>\n<p>Cooking big meals for everyone was something else he enjoyed.<\/p>\n<p>He even took over all of the baking.<\/p>\n<p>He always thought of others before himself.<\/p>\n<p>He taught nieces and nephews how to cook.<\/p>\n<p>He was very close to his brother, Jerome.<\/p>\n<p>They spoke every day.<\/p>\n<p>He was a friend to everyone, always trying to help friends and family through their struggles.<\/p>\n<p>His love he carried for his extended family cannot be put into words.<\/p>\n<p>He fought hard through the many surgeries he faced over the last few years.<\/p>\n<p>Clay passed away on March 30th surrounded by his family and friends who all loved him so much, but had to let him go.<\/p>\n<p>Clay is survived by his daughter, Olivia Hanson of Detroit Lakes, MN and granddaughter, Layla.<\/p>\n<p>He is also survived by his mother, Annie Tharaldson of Valley City, ND; 4 sisters, Darlene Johnson of Dazey, Deborah (John) Boury of Northwood, ND, Jean (Gloria) Oswald of Moorhead, MN, and Leona &#8220;Lonnie&#8221; (Adam Grossman) Barnard of Fargo, ND; and his brother, Jerome Tharaldson of Dazey; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends, who will be the honorary pallbearers for his memorial service.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his father, Morris Tharaldson; a nephew, Michael Hannig; 2 brothers-in-law, Dick Johnson and Willie Treitline; and a dear friend, Linda Bingham.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/lerudschuldt.com\">Visit LERUD-SCHULDT-MATHIAS FUNERAL HOME<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Clayton Tharaldson, age 56, of Dazey, ND, died Thursday, March 30th at Essentia Health, Fargo, ND.
