Bismarck\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 Jamestown Tourism reports local award winners were announced, Wednesday, during the 2017\u00a0 Annual North Dakota Travel Industry Conference in Bismarck.<\/p>\n

Bobby Koepplin from Valley City was given the Legend Award for Travel and Tourism industry leadership.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The Jamestown Arts Center’s, Hansen Arts Park won the Flint Starter Award for a Tourism Development Project.\u00a0 Jamestown Tourism and The Jamestown Downtown Associated made the nomination.<\/p>\n

The Governor\u2019s Awards for Travel and Tourism recognize passion and dedication of North Dakotan\u2019s who have contributed to the growth of travel and tourism, North Dakota\u2019s third-largest industry.<\/p>\n

Their long-term leadership in the areas of tourism development must be proven by a significant impact on a tourism business or local economic development effort.<\/p>\n
