City officials say that\u2019s about 3 tons more than the first day picked up in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Sanitation Department scale clerk Joey Cotton, reminds residents that tires and electronics including TVs, should be brought directly to the baler.<\/p>\n<p>He adds, that household garbage should be placed with the regular collection day items, and that the items for citywide cleanup should be place in the street near the curb, and NOT on the boulevard by 7-a.m.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday\u2019s citywide cleanup collection is in\u00a0 Southwest Jamestown, in the northwest on Wednesday. On Thursday, work crews will be in the northeast section of the city.<\/p>\n<p>Residents may bring items to the city baler from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.
