The family moved to Jamestown where he graduated from Jamestown High School.\u00a0 He was employed by Mini Mart as a manager and trainer for many years until his medical retirement in 1999. Terry had a real passion for golf and enjoyed bowling,<\/p>\n<p>Terry is survived by four brothers, Keith (Leah) Taxis, Edgeley, ND, Larry Taxis, Fargo, ND, Jerry (Joan) Taxis, Jamestown, and Timothy Taxis, Jamestown; many nieces and nephews and friends.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his parents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memorial Service:<\/strong> 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at First Church of the Nazarene, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Matt Zimmer officiating.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interment:<\/strong> Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memorials<\/strong>: May be sent to Jamestown Hospice, 2422 20<sup>th<\/sup> Street SW, Jamestown, ND\u00a0 58401<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Terry Taxis, 60, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Wednesday evening, July 26, 2017 at his home.
