{"id":126150,"date":"2017-08-01T17:33:05","date_gmt":"2017-08-01T22:33:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=126150"},"modified":"2017-08-02T17:25:20","modified_gmt":"2017-08-02T22:25:20","slug":"stutsman-co-commission-extends-drought-emergency","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=126150","title":{"rendered":"Stutsman County extends Drought Emergency"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSi)\u00a0 The Stutsman County Commission, Tuesday unanimously ratified the<a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=125774\"> Drought Emergency Declaration<\/a> signed July 25th by Stutsman County Commission Chairman Mark Klose.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday&#8217;s action by commission will continue the declaration from it\u2019s original seven day approval period.<\/p>\n<p>The declaration says that since early Spring 2017, Stutsman County has experienced very limited rainfall with some areas approaching six inches below average rainfall and worsening.<\/p>\n<p>Stutsman County Assistant Emergency Manager Kim Franklin reports the county has remained the same since the July declaration.<\/p>\n<div id=\"mep_0\" class=\"mejs-container svg wp-audio-shortcode mejs-audio\">She said, there have been no large fires since the drought declaration.<\/div>\n<p>The commission unanimously approved the declaration, which will continue it from its original 7 day approval period.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/droughtmonitor.unl.edu\/\">Drought Monitor Map<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSi)\u00a0 The Stutsman County Commission, Tuesday unanimously ratified the Drought Emergency Declaration signed July 25th by Stutsman County Commission Chairman Mark Klose.
