\"\"Jamestown (CSi)\u00a0 <\/strong>Jamestown Regional Medical Center and the University of Jamestown Nursing Student Association are hosting, What\u2019s Normal?: Teens, Tweens & the College Scene<\/em> on Monday, on September 11, 2017 at 7 p.m. at the University of Jamestown\u2019s Orlady Hall.<\/p>\n

The event is free, fun, fresh and frank. \u00a0\u00a0Gynecologist and obstetrician Dr. Bailey Runkles, , will discuss relevant health information for teenage and college-age women.<\/p>\n

She says, \u201cThis is a great opportunity for young women to learn about their health in a laid-back way.\u00a0 Too often, women either don\u2019t know what\u2019s going on with their bodies or are too uncomfortable to ask. That can lead to an unpleasant health outcome. We\u2019d like to alleviate those by offering free educational opportunities like this.\u201d<\/p>\n

The night will begin with a presentation, followed by an anonymous question and answer session. Topics include, but aren\u2019t limited to: abnormal or painful periods, contraception and cervical screenings.<\/p>\n

Pizza, refreshments and door prizes will be provided.<\/p>\n
