Produced by Video Art Studios in Fargo, the 30-minute documentary will be followed by a panel discussion led by Art Phillips, director; Carl Oberholtzer, co-producer and curriculum writer; and Rick Stern, the grandson of Herman Stern. The event is sponsored by the VCSU Department of Communication Arts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Originally from Germany, Stern made his home in Valley City for 70 years and is well-remembered as a successful businessman, civic leader, and hero.
