(AP) \u2013 A judge has ruled that the case against a Fort Ransom woman accused in the death of her infant son should proceed.<\/p>\n<p>29-year-old Jodi Lindvall was originally charged with murder and child abuse for the death of 22-month-old Bentley Lindvall, who died on September 22, 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors say an autopsy determined the boy had been physically abused and died of a head injury. Lindvall told authorities her son hit his head while she was struggling to change his diaper.<\/p>\n<p>Southeast Judicial District Judge Jay Schmitz ruled there\u2019s probable cause for the murder case, but dismissed child abuse charges. The arraignment for Lindvall is scheduled March 6.<\/p>\n<p>Reported previously&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>LISBON, N.D. (AP Feb 8, 2013) \u2013 A judge is deciding whether there\u2019s enough evidence to proceed with a murder trial in the case of a Fort Ransom woman accused in the death of her toddler son.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty-nine-year-old Jodi Lindvall had a preliminary hearing Thursday on charges of murder and child abuse in the Sept. 22 death of 22-month-old Bentley Lindvall. Judge Jay Schmitz will issue a ruling later on whether the case moves forward.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors say an autopsy determined the boy had been physically abused and died of a head injury. Court documents indicate Lindvall told authorities her son hit his head while she was struggling to change his diaper, and that she also had seen her live-in boyfriend shake the boy.
