Violet Moser, 85, of Jamestown, formerly Medina, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Ave Maria Village.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
She attended country school and was the oldest of 5 children. During that time she met Wilbert Moser whom she married on July 15, 1949. They owned and operated a small grain and dairy farm. Four children were born to their union, Darrell, Allen, Darwin, and Julie. Wilbert died on December 19, 1984 and shorty thereafter Violet moved to Medina where she cared for her parents.<\/p>\n
Violet taught Sunday school for many years. She cleaned the Medina Clinic, Camp Grassick, and for Mrs. DeKrey. Violet managed and cooked at Ozzies Caf in Medina. She often cooked at Crystal Springs Bible Camp. She was president of the Women’s Fellowship and belonged to the Buzzin’ Dozen Homemakers Club and two birthday clubs. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, traveling, and going to the local caf for coffee. She enjoyed making German dishes for her family. She moved to Jamestown in September of 2017.<\/p>\n
She is survived by her sons; Darrell (Barb) Moser of Fargo, ND, Allen (Leona) Moser of Medina, ND, Darwin (Mona Martel) Moser of Jamestown, ND, and daughter; Julie Moser of Jamestown, five grandchildren; Bryan, Jaymie, Amber, Tyler, and Justin, nine great grandchildren; Brady, Brandon, Bryson, John, Hayden, Eva, Isabela, Ariana, and Wesley, sisters; Clara Dale, Mary Ann (Larry) Matt, brothers; James (Carol) Weixel, and Dale Weixel, and four great granddogs.<\/p>\n
Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Moser, her parents, and a brother-in-law, Alan Dale.<\/p>\n
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 2, 2018 at Zion United Church of Christ, Medina with pastor Martin Nussbaum officiating.<\/p>\n
Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2018 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown with pastor Martin Nussbaum officiating.<\/p>\n
Burial: Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Medina Cemetery, Medina, ND.<\/p>\n
Arrangements are in the care of Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
