Delores Victoria Graff, 85, Jamestown, died Thursday, March 15, in Ave Maria Village.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Burial will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 4, at North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan, N.D. The memorial service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, at First United Methodist Church in Jamestown. Pastor Michelle Brennan will officiate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Delores V Malinski, October 18, 1932 to March 15, 2018. Delores was born Oct 18th<\/sup>, 1932 to Joseph and Victoria Malinski in Sykeston, North Dakota. She lived on the family farm and helped work on the farm for her mother & family until she graduated in 1950. During her high school years, she also worked at the Star Theater, Grand Theater & State Theater to help support her mother and family. After graduation she moved with her brother Ed to Florida in 1951, and joined the Navy shortly thereafter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

After serving in the Navy, she moved back to Jamestown, North Dakota where she met and married Chris Graff on July 15th<\/sup>, 1955. Together Chris & Delores (Dodee) purchased Graff\u2019s Standard Service Station from Chris\u2019s father, Chris Graff Sr. and Chris & Delores continued the family business as the second generation running the business together for 37 years until they both retired in 1992.<\/p>\n

Delores was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was very active in the church community often helping and volunteering at different events. Delores was also a member of the bowling league in Jamestown where she bowled at Majestic Lanes for many years. Delores was active in the Veterans community and served a term as the Commander of the American Legion. Delores was very patriotic and honored to have served her country.<\/p>\n

Delores is survived by her husband of 62 years, Chris Graff of Jamestown, ND, son Mark Graff (Beth) of Cary, NC, grandsons Collin & Austin, great-granddaughters Evelynn & Savannah, daughter Angella Graff of Brandon, FL, granddaughter Kali Weixel, great-granddaughter Aniyah St Louis, son Jon Graff (Danielle) of Maple Grove, MN and grandsons Paul, Dalton & Brody. Dodee is also survived by her brother Raymond Malinski, sister Helen Johnson of Billings, MT, sister Judy (Jake) Braunburger and sister Ester Stroausburg of Jamestown, ND.<\/p>\n

Delores is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Victoria Malinski, brothers Edward, Adam, Chester and infant Raymond, sister May and adolescent Helen.<\/p>\n

In lei of flowers or gifts, the family asks that you donate to Meals on Wheels, Hospice or the Veterans Associated Administration.<\/p>\n

Memorial service will be held in the spring 2018 to celebrate her life. Burial will be held at North Dakota Veterans Cemetery Mandan, ND in the spring 2018.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
