{"id":143572,"date":"2018-05-27T10:00:07","date_gmt":"2018-05-27T15:00:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=143572"},"modified":"2018-05-29T07:12:33","modified_gmt":"2018-05-29T12:12:33","slug":"vote-by-mail-barnes-co-information","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=143572","title":{"rendered":"Barnes County Vote by mail information"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-143573 size-thumbnail alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/USPSlogo-150x150.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>(CSi) Voters in Barnes County are reminded an option for the June 12\u00a0election is to vote by mail.<\/p>\n<p>Applications will be mailed out to all active voters in Barnes County.\u00a0 Individuals who wish to vote, may then complete and sign the application, and return it to the Barnes County Auditor\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>The Auditor\u2019s Office, will note receipt of the application and will be logged into the Central Voter File, and the ballot will be mailed to the voter, who may then vote their ballot at \u00a0home at their leisure.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who does not receive an application may either request one from the Barnes County Auditor\u2019s Office at 845-8500, or download the application form at the North Dakota Secretary of State\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p>Another option is to be hand-delivered to the Auditor\u2019s Office till close of business on June 11th.<\/p>\n<p>As in absentee voting, ballots mailed back must be post-marked by the day before the Election Day, June 11, 2018, in order to be counted.<\/p>\n<p>If the deadline is missed, and you still want to vote, bring the mail ballot with you to the polls, and give it in to an election official.<\/p>\n<p>All Barnes County residents can vote in the June 12th primary\/election and again in November 6th general election in the Barnes County Courthouse in Valley City.<\/p>\n<p>On election day, one polling place, the Barnes County Courthouse will be \u00a0open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(CSi) Voters in Barnes County are reminded an option for the June 12\u00a0election is to vote by mail.
