Police say she died at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>District Court reports Hoff was charged Tuesday with one count, murder.<\/p>\n<p>Bond was set at $500,000 cash.<\/p>\n<p>His court appointed attorney is Russell Myrhe.<\/p>\n<p>His preliminary court date is to be set.\u00a0 At that time Hoff will be arraigned , and a plea will be entered.<\/p>\n<p>On \u00a0Saturday, May 12, 2018, Jamestown Police Chief, Scott Edinger said, callers reported a man had shot a woman in a vehicle in the parking lot of\u00a0that apartment building, and fled the scene in a white SUV.\u00a0 Officers were\u00a0dispatched to the location.\u00a0 Moments later the dispatch center received a\u00a0call from 27 year\u00a0 old Kevin Michael Hoff, of Montpelier who stated he had shot his ex-wife and wanted to turn himself in.\u00a0 Officers took Hoff into custody at the Stutsman County Law Enforcement Center without incident.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 Kevin Michael Hoff made his initial appearance, in Stutsman County Court on Tuesday morning, before Southeast District Court Judge, Jay Schmitz.
