Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi) \u00a0 Come to the final\u00a0Arts Market <\/strong>of the season,\u00a0\u00a05 to 9 pm at Hansen Arts Park downtown Jamestown.<\/p>\n

August 23rd –\u00a0<\/strong>THE GINA POWERS BAND\u00a0 With: Max Johnk Quartet
\n<\/strong>The Gina Powers Band plays their own original brand of Americana and country music.\u00a0 Working on their debut album, this is a band going places, driven by Powers\u2019 rich, and powerful, vocals.\u00a0 Opening the program is Fargo\u2019s Max Johnk Quartet, a jazz quartet extraordinaire!\u00a0 Hailing from Fargo, the quartet mixes standards with original compositions\u2026 all played with bravura virtuosity and impeccable style.\u00a0 A \u201dswinging\u201d musical treat not to be missed!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> In the event of bad weather, the entertainment will be held inside the Arts Center.<\/p>\n

Arts Center Director Larry Kopp said, in addition to a wide variety of entertainment on Thursday nights, \u00a0there will be Kids Corner with activities and adult arts offerings. \u00a0He added there will be vendors on hand as well.\u00a0He said, the Arts Center, not only promotes the Performing and Visual Arts, but also promotes Downtown Jamestown, and building the Jamestown community.<\/p>\n

The Arts Market is made possible through\u00a0 grants from Jamestown Tourism, and North Dakota Tourism, and is a partnership\u00a0 with\u00a0 Jamestown Downtown Association, North Dakota Tourism and Jamestown Tourism.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce, Executive Becky Thatcher-Keller recently pointed out that during the Markets, residents will have the opportunity to engage in a walking tour of Downtown Jamestown’s historical buildings and find out more about the unique businesses in town\/<\/p>\n
