Arthur “Art” W. Grinder died at the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City on Thursday, May 17, 2018.<\/p>\n
The funeral service for Arthur “Art” W. Grindler, 82, Valley City, ND will be 2:00 PM, Monday, May 21, 2018 at Grace Free Lutheran Church, Valley City. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service.<\/p>\n
Burial will be in Woodbine Cemetery, Valley City.<\/p>\n
Arthur William Grindler was born March 20, 1936 in Valley City, ND to Oscar and Bertha (Carl) Grindler.<\/p>\n
He attended rural school near Valley City.<\/p>\n
As a young man, he worked for neighboring farmers.<\/p>\n
Art began doing some construction work and eventually became the maintenance man at the Baldhill Dam, working for the Corp of Engineers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
