\"\"<\/a>Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 On Thursday morning, Southeast District Court Judge Jay Schmitz set bond for Justice Lange\u00a0at $250,000 cash or $500,000 surety, at her initial court appearance.<\/p>\n

She remains incarcerated in the Stutsman County Correctional Center.<\/p>\n

Lange is charged with manslaughter, a Class B felony, and child neglect, a Class C felony\u00a0accused with the death of her infant son..<\/p>\n

The judge ordered her\u00a0 not leave the state of North Dakota if she is released.<\/p>\n

Lange\u00a0informed the court that\u00a0she applied for a court appointed attorney\u00a0however\u00a0no attorney was present at Thursday’s initial court appearance.<\/p>\n

Her next court date, a preliminary hearing, will be scheduled\u00a0when a court appointed attorney has been assigned to her.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Lange\u00a0has been \u00a0accused of recklessly causing the death of her four month-old son on or about July 4 in rural Stutsman County, along with\u00a0failing to provide proper parental care, control and subsistence.<\/p>\n

Last Friday, Lange was found wandering on a road east of Woodworth by a farmer. She was taken to a hospital in Fargo, while authorities launched a search for the baby.<\/p>\n

His body was found on Saturday afternoon after a two-day search on the edge of a slough in some reeds.<\/p>\n

Authorities were unsure how long he had been there.<\/p>\n

Jamestown\u00a0 (KFYR-AP)<\/span> The woman whose four-month-old son was found dead on Saturday in rural Stutsman County has been charged with manslaughter and child neglect, according to court records.<\/p>\n

Twenty-five-year old Justice Lange had been missing for four days and told authorities she couldn’t remember the last time she had her son.<\/p>\n

She will have an initial appearance\u00a0Thursday morning at 10:30 in Stutsman County.<\/p>\n

The Stutsman County Clerk of Court confirms there was oral probable cause for the charges.<\/p>\n
