\"\"Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 Jamestown Police warns residents regarding a convicted sex offender living in Jamestown.<\/p>\n

Sandy Lee Mangelson lives at 316 \u00bd 5th<\/sup> Avenue Northeast, Jamestown, ND<\/p>\n

His vehicle is a white 2001 Chevy Silverado pickup, with ND License 280 CEH.<\/p>\n

Mangelson is a 31 year old white male 6-feet-1 inch tall, weighing 185 pound, with green eyes and blond hair.<\/p>\n

He has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota Attorney General\u2019s Risk Level Committee.<\/p>\n

Offense: Gross Sexual Imposition.\u00a0 While he was a registered sex offender he met a 14 year old girl near a central high school.\u00a0 A school safety officer witnessed him fondling the girl.<\/p>\n

Conviction Date: November 2007 in Grand Forks District Court.<\/p>\n

Disposition: \u00a060 days, 30 days suspended, 5-years supervised probation.<\/p>\n

Offense: Sexual contact with a child younger that 16 years old.<\/p>\n

When he was 18 he fondled two girls ages 13 and 14.\u00a0 Police discovered the offense while investigating Mangelsen for touching a 19 year old girl.<\/p>\n

Conviction: January 2006 in Codington, South Dakota, District Court.<\/p>\n

Disposition: 180 days suspended for one year.<\/p>\n

Mangelsen is not wanted by police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court.<\/p>\n

This notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community, nor should this information be used to threaten, assault, or intimidate the offender.<\/p>\n

Any attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten these offenders, their families, landlords, or employers will be turned over for prosecution.<\/p>\n
