(AP) &#8211; The North Dakota Farmers Union is contributing $5,000 to a reward fund set up for information to leading to a conviction in the shooting deaths of nine Oliver<br \/>\nCounty cattle on the Fourth of July.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 That increases the reward fund to $18,000. The North Dakota<br \/>\nStockmen&#8217;s Association says it&#8217;s the largest such reward in state<br \/>\nhistory.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 State Farmers Union President Woody Barth says the organization<br \/>\nis concerned that someone would randomly shoot and kill cattle.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dakota Community Bank and two of its owners have contributed<br \/>\n$3,000 to push up the fund that began with $1,000 from the<br \/>\nStockmen&#8217;s and $9,000 from the owners of the nine animals shot in<br \/>\nOliver County on the Fourth of July.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 \u00a0JAMESTOWN, N.D.
