(AP Mar 27, 2013) &#8211; An attorney representing a Fargo TV station being sued by a former anchorwoman has asked a federal judge to dismiss the case.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Forum newspaper reports\u00a0 that attorney Gina Janeiro told U.S. District Judge Ralph Erickson during a Tuesday hearing that the decision by KXJB-KVLY TV to remove then-50-year-old Robin Huebner from the station&#8217;s 10 p.m. newscast and replace her with a woman about half her age did not constitute age discrimination.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Huebner is suing KXJB-KVLY parent Hoak Media. She&#8217;s seeking more than $75,000 in damages.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Huebner&#8217;s attorney, James Kaster, told Erickson that the station&#8217;s decision to shift Huebner to another time slot and cut her pay by more than one-third was an undeserved demotion designed to make her quit, which she did.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Erickson will rule later.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FARGO, N.D.
