{"id":157114,"date":"2018-11-05T11:44:39","date_gmt":"2018-11-05T17:44:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=157114"},"modified":"2018-11-06T08:35:52","modified_gmt":"2018-11-06T14:35:52","slug":"car-fire-on-uj-campus-sunday-evening","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=157114","title":{"rendered":"Man pulled from slough south of Medina Mon"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Medina \u00a0(CSi)\u00a0 The Rescue Squad was called out Monday at 11:05am \u00a0to a slough south of Medina where a\u00a0man clinging to a canoe was in need of assistance.<\/p>\n<p>The unit was called back to Jamestown when it reached the Cleveland area as they were not needed to assist.<\/p>\n<p>The 30 year old hunter from Pennsylvania was hanging onto the capsized canoe.<\/p>\n<p>The Stutsman County Sheriff&#8217;s Office responded to the slough with Deputies Jason Falk, Brian Davis and Damian Hoyt wearing suits that are\u00a0 flotation devices to swim in cold water.<\/p>\n<p>The deputies brought the hunter to shore and to\u00a0a waiting ambulance<\/p>\n<p>The man was transported to Jamestown Regional Medical Center by Medina Ambulance Service where he was treated and released.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday&#8230;<\/p>\n<div class=\"node-body\">Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 The Jamestown\u00a0 City Fire Department responded to a car fire Sunday evening at the University of Jamestown campus behind Kroese Hall at 10:21 p.m.<\/div>\n<div class=\"node-body\">\n<p>Jamestown Police on the scene reported the fire was out, just before, 10:30-p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The report says the fire was caused by an engine malfunction, with the vehicle likely a total loss.<\/p>\n<p>No injuries reported, with four City Fire Units, and 17 fire fighters on the scene about 20 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"p402_premium\">\n<div class=\"node-body\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"article-sidebar-ad\" data-google-query-id=\"CPG285jkvd4CFUtUAQodqBMNYA\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Medina \u00a0(CSi)\u00a0 The Rescue Squad was called out Monday at 11:05am \u00a0to a slough south of Medina where a\u00a0man clinging to a canoe was in need of assistance.
