Jamestown (CSi)\u00a0\u2013 Jamestown Police\u00a0is seeking help from the public, concerning information about\u00a0a pedestrian\u00a0being struck by a\u00a0vehicle about 2:30, Thursday afternoon at the intersection of 3rd Street Northwest and 3rd Avenue Northwest .<\/p>\n
The JPD news release states, the car\u00a0reportedly struck\u00a0the pedestrian who was walking eastbound at the 3rd Street intersection<\/p>\n
The driver of the northbound\u00a0vehicle fled the scene.<\/p>\n
Sgt. Shane Gallagher reports the driver was described as\u00a0a caucasian male around 40 years\u00a0old, with a possible beard and\u00a0 shoulder length hair.<\/p>\n
The vehicle\u00a0is\u00a0 a silver four door sedan, car.<\/p>\n
Gallagher says a concerned citizen at the\u00a0scene took the unidentified pedestrian\u00a0to get\u00a0medical treatment.<\/p>\n
Anyone with information about the car, or driver is asked to call Jamestown Police at 701-252-2414, or the LEC Dispatch 701-252-1000.<\/p>\n
